Membership Fees for ALL Bendigo Chinese Association Members

U18 – $20

Single Membership – $25

Family Membership – $39  

Full members

Full membership of the Association shall be open to any person of good character over the age of 18 years who is of Chinese descent or spouse of same and is a permanent resident of Bendigo and who supports the purposes of the Association. Once accepted as such a Full Member will not forfeit such status simply upon leaving Bendigo.

Junior members 

Any person of good character under the age of 18 who is of Chinese descent and is a permanent resident of Bendigo may apply for admission to the Association, as a Junior Member. On attaining the age of 18 years a Junior Member shall automatically become a full member upon payment of the appropriate fees and subscriptions involved.

Associate members

(1)       The Executive Committee may invite any person of good character over the age of 18 years who wishes to further the aims and objects of the Association and to participate in its activities to apply for admission to the Association as an Associate Member. The total number of Associate Members, including Junior Associate Members in any one year shall not exceed in number 25% of the total of the current Full Financial Memberships in that year. All Associate Members shall be limited to a period of twelve months and may be renewed by the Executive       Committee annually. 

(2)       An associate member must not vote but may have other rights as determined by the Committee or by resolution at a general meeting.

Cultural Performing Team Members 

(1)       The Executive Committee may invite any person of good character over the age of 5 years who wishes to further the aims and objectives of the Association and to participate in its Cultural Performing Teams, to apply for admission to the Association as a Cultural Performing Team Member. The total of Cultural Performing Team Member can be of any number. All Cultural Performing Team Members shall be limited to a period of 12 months and may be removed by the Executive Committee annually.

(2)       A Cultural Performing Team Member must not vote but may have other rights as determined by the Committee or by resolution at a general meeting.
